This LIFE is semi-retired.

Hi! I'm updating this space to tell you guys that this second, seemingly, kinda, sort of unsuccessful attempt at deeply documenting my thoughts I call a blog will now be semi-retired. Facebook status updates and tweeting are a lot easier these days to blab about things like my views on life, society, and current events. Blogging, however, takes a little bit of thought. Heck, even THIS pinned post takes a while to be typed too.

The NARNIA division, however, I shall try and actively live it up; where I'll say good or crappy things about films, TV series, music, video games, events, or literature I have read... if this lazy-leech thing ever comes off of my brain, that is. 'Till then.

7-Eleven Day sucks.
The Malaysian subsidiary of the 24-7 convenient store DO NOT offer free Slurpees that day. BOO!

TTDI JAYA, 7 NOV: Everyone should check the calendar yesterday and look very closely at the date. Yesterday was November 7th 2010, or 7/11/2010. In commemoration of the awesome date which happens to be a name of the infamous 24/7 convenient store, 7-Eleven, they are offering free Slurpees on that day. Unfortunately, according to two faithfuls of the convenient store franchise, who were asked by their sister to go to the nearest 7-Eleven after she got a tweet from her friend saying "Free Slurpees on 7-Eleven Day!" it was a big disappointment. After one of the duo asked the employees of the store, turns out that the promotion only applies to the Australian subsidiary of the store. The two sighed and then left the store to eat lunch at a local nasi kandar restaurant.

Damn! It got real steamy!
A local never-before-opened-for-business-as-long-as-the-writer-can-remember restaurant was burnt to ashes yesterday.
The said restaurant having its heavy smokes being dozed off by the local fire dept.
TTDI JAYA, 7 NOV, 6.xx PM: The Alis (the artistic way of saying The Radzalis), along with other TTDI Jaya inhabitants have witnessed this disaster. A local never-before-opened-for-business-as-long-as-the-writer-can-remember restaurant was burnt to ashes yesterday.

According to one of the handsomest Alis ever, Iki.Ali (19) told INN that this was not what his family was expecting. He told us that the Alis was actually trying to fix Sy.Ali (17), Iki.Ali's young brother's bike at a nearby bike shop just along the line of the totally crisped out, badly named STEAM - BOAT CORNER RESTAURANT, a possible reason on why anyone never saw this restaurant went open for business. "I was like... damn! This is just rad!" that was the reaction given by Iki.Ali." Sy.Ali added; "This was like the next best thing after the infamous flood that flourished the name of this 'hood!"

Everyone LOVES a good show.
The police came to investigate.
Because this incident was a rarity, it had garnered favourable reviews from the inhabitants of Taman TTDI Jaya (an alternate name for the neighbourhood which can be a mouthful when 'TTDI' is expanded). They are simply shocked as hell, but instead of feeling scared, they just simply stare at it like they are watching a blockbuster film. Based on another testimony by Radzali bin Adam (he's the Big Ali, who just turned 56 last Saturday), at first they were thinking if it was the bike shop that went toast, and the bike they carry along won't ever get the chance to be revived ever again. "But thank God it was just the restaurant," Radzali added.

The side view of the restaurant.
Good job, guys.

The local fire department, presumably from the neighbouring community Bukit Jelutong, were trying their best to control the situation. And they did a very good job.

The water supplies sucks, so they had to bring in more firetrucks.

6 years later... they meet again.
Former school bus driver reunites with two customers after 6 years.

TTDI JAYA, 7 NOV, 7.xx PM: Another shocking story being reported from two of the Alis exclusively for INN. After witnessing a steamboat restaurant being set on fire and at the same time waiting for a bike to be fixed, Iki.Ali and Sy.Ali went for a walk home. As they were walking and talking, a taxi suddenly stopped beside them. Then, taxi door suddenly opened. Iki.Ali, Sy.Ali and the passenger inside the taxi were all surprised. It turns out that the taxi driver was their former bus driver back when their real mother was still alive, circa 2002; around 6 years ago, said Sy.

Iki.Ali added, "Whoah... this guy is the shiz! I mean, he had a lot of customers back when he was a bus driver! I'm quiet surprised that he remembered who's who! He must've been doing his previous job very sincerely." "What's more awesome was that his taxi came from our backs instead of facing us! How could he recognise us from the back after 6 years of not seeing each other?" said Sy, adding more clarification to Iki's statement. According to the Alis again, he seemed to be the same old friendly person they know and respect. He even asked whether their dad is well. After that short reunion, all of them went separate ways. "Damn, today was the most random day ever!" said Iki.Ali.
