This LIFE is semi-retired.

Hi! I'm updating this space to tell you guys that this second, seemingly, kinda, sort of unsuccessful attempt at deeply documenting my thoughts I call a blog will now be semi-retired. Facebook status updates and tweeting are a lot easier these days to blab about things like my views on life, society, and current events. Blogging, however, takes a little bit of thought. Heck, even THIS pinned post takes a while to be typed too.

The NARNIA division, however, I shall try and actively live it up; where I'll say good or crappy things about films, TV series, music, video games, events, or literature I have read... if this lazy-leech thing ever comes off of my brain, that is. 'Till then.

Flashback story #2: I was there before things get rowdy in 2007.

Unlike the previous 'Flashbacks', this one has never been published on my previous blog or any of my social accounts. But, this was however, closely related to THIS ENTRY on my old blog (that entry itself is a flashback), where it happened back in 2007.

So, I submitted my money order for the official Malaysian YUI-Lover t-shirt, right? Since Facebook was practically either in beta stage, not invented yet or no one gave a crap about it at the time, it was announced that on the November 25th on the good old YUI-Lover.com that the said date would be the day where the t-shirt I ordered must be collected (well, it's not like it's compulsory for me to get it at the time, but if I didn't take the chance, I would never have another one ever again... and also, it will burn my dad's money) when it was also my chance to meet fellow Malaysian YUI Lovers for the first time ever. Well, if you're the kind to keep up with the news or are keen in this revolution stuff, you should know what other occurence also happened on that same day! Any ideas? Moving on...

So, as far as I can remember correctly, I got either a text or a call from a fellow YUI Lover to avoid going to the KLCC Park, the supposed meeting place for the YUI Lovers' gathering (but later went there anyway, but no outdoor morning jam as planned earlier), and must instead retreat at the hotel room of another fellow YUI Lover. I had no idea why he said that, so I did exactly what he asked me to do. As soon as I was in front of the hotel, I saw this.

I think I was WAY over there behind the VERY TIGHT crowd when this was taken.
I had no idea what this rally was all about at first. But then, days after that very joyful gathering of like-minded people who adores the awesomeness of the Japanese singer-songwriter (or was it shortly after the end of the outing?), I found out that the rally I saw was actually... the infamously notorious inaugural edition of the HINDRAF Rally (to know what the heck I'm talking about, click HERE for the Malay version and HERE for the English version)! If I only didn't follow what that fellow YUI Lover's orders to stay inside his room for a while, I would've probably got caught within THIS mess...

The view of the heated rally from the fellow YUI Lover's hotel room of the 15th floor.
...and would've never made it to hang out with these amazing peeps!

Awesome YUI Lovers! Hmm... I wonder how they look like now in 2012? :P
Whatever it is that rally was fighting for, you guys had your very own reasons why you guys did it, but it would suck for totally unrelated me who was only trying to get an awesome T-shirt to get dragged into someone else's fight for rights and got hurt for no reason. Anyways, the bottomline is I was in two VERY AWESOME events that occured on the same day! And I actually lived to tell the tale!

And why did I say that the rally is awesome? Because revolutions are cool (not being sarcastic here, unless the purpose of starting that revolution is totally wrong in the first place). Heck, even YUI herself injected some sort of revolt-themed lyrics in some of her songs! We were encouraged to fight for our rights, and there we were, fighting for our rights to meet up share the YUI love! Awesome shit is awesome!

P/S:
1. Pics were taken from HERE. Big ups to the veteran YUI Lover atheon (final pic, 4th person from right to left) for these pics!
2. I didn't know what influenced me to write this up, but it happened!
3. Yeah, that fat douche sitting on that sofa on the 3rd pic was definitely me... in glorious sweet 16 mode.
